The handmade ceramics of the cooperation collection "Lanius x onomao" is produced in the north of Portugal in the region of Porto. The clay is a pure natural product, which is mined in the region of the manufactory. Being one of the oldest family businesses in the region, they also have considerable expertise. The manufacturing process combines old and new techniques. onomao maintains a close collaboration with the ceramic manufactory.

Stoneware is a purely natural product, it consists of the natural raw material clay and a small amount of quartz and feldspar. The production of the stoneware of our LANIUSxonomao cooperation is an old handicraft. The quarrying and processing take place in Portugal in traditional manufactories.

This item is completely CO₂-neutralized. Together with the experts from ClimatePartner, we determine the CO₂ emissions caused during production and offset them by supporting a carbon offset project.

Lanius is een merk opgericht in 1999 door Claudia Lanius met een duidelijke visie om ecologische materialen en eerlijke werkomstandigheden samen te brengen om prachtige vrouwelijke items te creëren. Lanius staat voor LOVE FASHION / THINK ORGANIC / BE RESPONSIBLE en dat kan je ook zien in hun kleding. 

Eerlijke handel: Lanius werkt alleen met productie faciliteiten waar ze een eerlijke productie kunnen garanderen. Ze hebben een hechte relatie met al hun partners en de meeste van hun leveranciers zijn GOTS-gecertificeerd. Ze zijn erg transparant en hebben op hun website een pagina gewijd aan al hun leveranciers, zodat je kunt zien wie je kleding heeft gemaakt.

Milieuvriendelijk: De kleding is gemaakt van GOTS-gecertificeerd biologisch katoen dat op een milieuvriendelijke manier is verbouwd, biologische en mulesing-vrije wol en ECONYL ® 100% geregenereerd nylongaren gemaakt van gerecyclede visnetten. Ze gebruiken ook andere duurzame materialen en hebben een pagina gewijd aan al hun materialen op hun website als je andere milieuvriendelijke materialen wilt leren kennen.

Goed doel: Lanius doneert op internationale vrouwendag 10% van alle dagelijkse inkomsten aan de organisatie FEMNET.
