C by Stories is opgericht door Laura Eline en staat voor Created by Stories. Het merk legt de nadruk op de mensen die de kleding maken. Elk kledingstuk wordt gemaakt door een mens met ieder zijn of haar eigen verhaal. Zo is elk kledingstuk dus created by stories.
Milieuvriendelijk: de materialen die C by Stories gebruikt zijn niet milieuvriendelijk. Zo zijn er items gemaakt van 100% polyester of zelfs synthetische materiaalmixen.
Wel produceert het merk lokaal en in kleine oplages. Ook wordt er van restmateriaal kleine collecties gemaakt.
Lokaal & eerlijk geproduceerd: waarom we C by Stories dan wel hebben toegelaten op ons platform? Omdat het merk zich hard inzet voor de mensen die de kleding maken. Ze werken samen met een fabriek in Turkije, waar ook de materialen vandaan komen, en stellen je op hun website voor aan alle mensen die betrokken zijn bij het proces van het maken van de kleding. Zelf noemen ze ze 'artiesten'. De wintercollectie is gemaakt in Amsterdam, in een atelier waar mensen met een vluchtelingenachtergrond werken en op die manier toegang vinden tot de arbeidsmarkt.
