This scrunchie consists of a soft cotton and is colored with yellow onion skins and pigment from the Madder plant. The fabric is treated with alum for color fastness.

Because the fabrics are colored with natural pigments, it is advisable to wash the scrunchie as little as possible for longer colourfastness. Do you still want to wash? Then I recommend steaming or a cold hand wash.

Zo hopen ze bij te dragen aan een lichtere milieubelasting en het verdrijven van wegwerp decoratie. Tijdens de Corona-crisis heeft the Garland Stories een collectie mondkapjes uitgebracht. De materialen zijn 90% restmaterialen van de evenementenindustrie (zoals oude kostuums of decordoeken), of tweedehands stoffen de bij de kringloop vandaan komen. Sinds er geen btw meer op mondkapjes zit, schenkt the Garland Stories 21% van de bestelling aan Artsen Zonder Grenzen om Corona wereldwijd te bestrijden en slachtoffers te helpen.
