Our tip: we know it’s hard to choose from all these unique prints… First pick your regular size. For a slightly “oversized” look, pick one size up. Then, browse over the range of products corresponding to these two sizes.

Composition

Our classic bomber jacket is made with a vintage Indian saree, that has been worn by an Indian woman before, as a cloth wrapped around her body. We source our sarees from all over India, so it’s not possible to know the exact composition of the saree.Our classic bomber jacket has a front zipper and two side pockets. The collar, hem, and cuffs are in rib fabric. The jacket has a soft cotton lining.

Who made this bomber jacket?

All Tildé pieces are the result of a collaboration between Mathilde, the designer, and the talented Indian team in charge of the production. For each collection, Mathilde spends over three weeks in Rajasthan with the team adjusting and fine-tuning the prototypes and patterns.

We travel to India for each new collection to source our beautiful vintage sarees. Each saree is selected carefully, giving these discarded beauties a new life.Please be aware that some of the garments might have irregularities where the color has slightly faded away... this is part of their charm and it ensures you they are truly unique pieces.

Alle items van Tildé zijn het resultaat van een samenwerking tussen de ontwerper in België en een getalenteerd Indiaas team dat verantwoordelijk is voor de productie. Voor elke collectie brengt Tildé meer dan 3 weken door in Rajasthan met het team, waarbij de prototypes en patronen die in België zijn gemaakt worden aangepast en verfijnd. Tildé gebruikt tweedehands Sarees en upcycled deze tot unieke en hippe crop-tops, jurkjes en blouses. Van het overgebleven materiaal maakt het team accessoires, om onnodig restmateriaal tegen te gaan.
