A traditional Tyrolean shoe is certainly a staple in many workwear enthusiasts. BOBBY is part of our new Premium line of essential hand-made shoes and boots. They are made in Italy by a family-owned "Atelier" based in the Marche Region, between the sea and the hills.

These shoes are entirely assembled and stitched by hand. The BOBBY are high-quality shoes that are meant to last and be durable. The BOBBY welt is stitched to the upper and uses a cemented construction. A 'cemented construction' means the welt is stitched, and the sole is then cemented or strongly "glued" to the welt and heat-sealed. This technique is extra-strong and durable.

The BOBBY Tyrolean shoes are extra comfortable; we use a soft and resistant upper microfiber, and you can wear them all day at work or to go out and have that timeless, stylish workwear look but 100% vegan.

BOBBY exists in BLACK Vegan leather and Bio-based material.

• Our microfiber upper uses a non-woven technology and is 100% vegan and V- label (Vegan certified)
• The lining is plant-based, made from Corn, and V-label (Vegan certified); it's 100% recycled and recyclable. This material is highly absorbing and fast drying.
• Oekotex Standard 100 Class approved.

• Black stitches on the welt

• Made with care in a family-owned factory in Italy

The fitting is accurate to a little big for men. If you are between two sizes, we suggest a size down.

"This material is thinner than our usual microfiber. The look of the shoes is softer, and when unworn, small pleats might appear on the side due to the softness of this particular material. The small pleats will disappear once the shoes are worn and on your feet. Our boxes are made of recycled paper and are 100% biodegradable. With each pair of shoes, you will find in the package a Good Guys cotton bag made in Italy you can use for traveling with your shoes and carry your precious belongings in your bag in your daily life.

We use only one box serving as shoe boxes and shipping boxes to save material and space. We use a 100% compostable mailer bag from Noissue to protect your pair and ship it safely as an alternative to a protective wrapping plastic mailer. Using one box and a 100% compostable mailer is an excellent step towards more sustainable packaging.

Good Guys Don't Wear Leather is een klein bedrijf dat in 2011 is opgericht door Marion Hanania, een Parijse schoenontwerper en al lang veganist. Good Guys maakt veganistische schoenen die 100% cruelty-free zijn en stijl niet opgeven. Zo kunnen zij aan fashionista's en dierenliefhebbers een duurzame keuze bieden. 

Eerlijk geproduceerd: De schoenen worden eerlijk gemaakt in kleine familiebedrijven in Portugal, Italië en Spanje. Hier worden de schoenen (voornamelijk) met de hand gemaakt. Good Guys bezoekt deze locaties gemiddeld twee keer per jaar en kan bevestigen dat de omstandigheden hier prettig zijn en de medewerkers een eerlijk loon krijgen. 

Milieuvriendelijk: Door te experimenteren met innovatieve, natuurlijke materialen zoals Appel-leer en mais en gerecycled materiaal wil het merk werken naar een 100% natuurlijk afbreekbare schoen. Nu werkt Good Guys nog veel met synthetische materialen, microfiber. De materialen zijn Oeko-Tex gecertificeerd, wat aangeeft dat er geen schadelijke stoffen in voorkomen. 

Veganistisch: alle producten van Good Guys Don't Wear Leather zijn 100% veganistisch sinds dag 1. Zij hebben hiervoor het PETA-approved certificaat. 

Lokaal geproduceerd: de items worden allemaal binnen Europa gemaakt, ook de materialen komen van binnen Europa. 

Goed doel: het label steunt verschillende goede doelen. Ze steunen PETA en Woodstock Sanctuary, zetten zich in voor gender gelijkheid en Le Secours Populaire Francais.
